Notcoin Game Token Set to Launch: What Players Need to Know

Notcoin launch

The launch of the NOT token on The Open Network (TON) is approaching after the Notcoin game garnered around 35 million players in the first quarter of this year. Co-creator Sasha Plotvinov revealed at Token 2049 Dubai that the NOT token is slated to launch by the end of April. Three main options for managing funds post-launch were outlined.

Following the conclusion of the game’s “mining phase” on April 1 in readiness for the token launch, Notcoin will reintroduce its coin-tapping gameplay. While adjustments to the model are expected, players can still earn tokens by interacting with partner content in the game.

Upon the token’s release, players will be encouraged to retain their tokens for in-game benefits. Plotvinov highlighted the opportunity to utilize NOT tokens within the game to access exclusive features and perks.

It is anticipated that a significant portion of the player base will remain engaged and utilize their tokens within the game. For those wishing to withdraw NOT tokens on The Open Network, two withdrawal methods will be available: through a centralized exchange or to a supported self-custody wallet.

Efforts are being made by the Notcoin team at Open Builders to ensure a seamless withdrawal process, addressing previous delays cited during the token’s development.
